Lorraine chose osteopathy as a career as a result of effective treatment by an osteopath which addressed years of persistent low back pain in just a few treatments.
Lorraine started her manual therapy career as a holistic massage therapist in 2004, running an on-site massage company and treatment room in London. She qualified as a sports massage therapist before deciding to build on her understanding of musculoskeletal pain by going back to University to undertake a masters degree at the British School of Osteopathy (now the UCO) in London. She moved back to Scotland to practice osteopathy in 2016 and joined the Happy Being team in 2019.
Lorraine treats adults with a mainly structural approach, and is also interested in persistent pain conditions such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.
She is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
