What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy uses practical and well researched strategies to help people make significant, positive, change in their lives in a relatively short period of time.
Through this programme, I discuss and agree what each client wants to achieve going forward, rather than dwelling on past problems.
The approach focuses on the present and the future – not on the past.
Hypnosis supports issues using simple relaxation and visualisation techniques, allowing the client to focus on the positive aspects of their lives and to enable the client to shift perspectives.
Some examples of issues that hypnotherapy can help are as follows:-

- Depression and Anxiety
- Phobias (eg fear of flying, water, spiders, public speaking, also panic attacks)

How Long is the Programme?
Normally 8 to 10 consultations for general issues, 4 consultations to treat a phobia and 1 elongated session to stop smoking.
An important part of the therapy is to regularly listen to the relaxation cd given out at the end of the initial consultation.
